Harry Kisber immigrated to the United States in the late 19th Century. He initially settled near Athens, Alabama to take advantage of the Homestead Act of 1862.  Harry moved to Memphis, Tennessee and established Kisber Auto Parts at 101 S. Second Street in 1917. Four generations later, I had the good fortune to work for my father, Leonard Kisber, at Kisber Auto Parts. It was there that I developed a love of antique vehicles and at 16 years of age bought my first antique truck, a 1958 Dodge Sweptside Pickup. I have been hooked ever since!
